We’re Dave and Gemma, and we met around five years ago when working together on a wedding. The event was a huge success, and a friendship was formed. With Dave being the founder of KataLane event hire, and Gemma having her own event business, it made sense to bring our ideas, visions and “can-do” attitudes together. As they say, two heads are better than one!
SkandiBar was built around wanting to combine all the elements of an outdoor event without the restrictions that four walls bring with them. People have always said that no event supplier has it all; SkandiBar is here to change that. We are the first to offer marquees, staff, food, alcohol, staging, furnishings, lighting, entertainment, insurance, locations…even bathrooms. Anywhere, anytime. We take care of every detail so that you can focus on enjoying your special event – stress-free.

Food & Drinks
- Drinks
Bar – a bar with taps? Or stocked with your favourite bottled beer? Wine? Cocktails? The choice is yours. Our full list of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is available on request. We can supply all alcohol, glass-free cups, straws, ice…. the works.
- Food
Food is one of our specialties. There are so many options to choose from; otherwise you can hire your own caterer or food trucks (we love to work with new suppliers!).
- Dry Hire
One -or more- of our beautiful tipis, complete with flooring and fairy lights.
- Insurance
We can arrange tailored insurance for any event size. You can relax, knowing that your event is completely covered for any unseen circumstances.
Staff, Staging & Entertainment
- Licensed Venue
We are a licensed venue and you can hire us to serve at your event. In fact, we can supply all of your staffing needs, depending on the size of your event.
- Furniture
We can provide all furniture to give your event a unique look and feel. Decorate your space with an extensive choice of furnishings, stunning lighting and branding to suit your event. If needed, our staff can guide you with styling options.
- Entertainment
We have a very long list of musicians and DJ’s to suit all tastes and music preferences.
- Bathrooms
We can supply your event with many different options to ensure that you have anything from a standard bathroom to a luxury loo for your guests on the day.
